The GENERATION FOREST

2026

Dir. Peter Crosby

Synopsis

In 1948, there were 17 million square kilometers of tropical forest. Today, there are 10 million square kilometers. At the current trajectory, by the year 2070 there will be only 2 million square kilometers of tropical forest remaining.

Experts agree that is a game over situation.

The Generation Forest is one of many smaller initiatives making strides towards progress. The question is: how can we get these smaller scale initiatives scaled up so that they can become mainstream?
